Intro to Analog Color Film Processing

This hands-on two day workshop will introduce students to varied methods for developing classic C-41 color negative films such as Ektar and Portra. Different equipment and materials will be covered in detail including JOBO processing, automated tabletop processors (PhotoTherm), laboratory water baths, sous vide (CineStill), and kitchen sink solutions. We will also discuss basic chemistry options, recommended times and information regarding a spectrum of process solutions from best practices to ad hoc get it done explorations, including room temp and outdoor development!
