DESCRIPTION
In this two-day workshop, we will start with some straight toning in selenium, gold, and sepia. See how different papers respond to full and/or partial toning. Talk about considerations in terms of paper, with concentration on printing in preparation for toning with different toners. The second day we will be a bit more adventurous with dual toning, and selective toning. We will discuss considerations of these creative options and how they might apply to your work. Join us to explore the possibilities.

NOTES

Participants must have recent experience and proficient working knowledge of black and white darkroom procedures to participate in this workshop.

Participants will work with their own prints, which must be straight black and white prints that have not yet been toned. Prints on fiber based papers are optimal for the workshop.
