Navigating your art practice alongside a commercial practice can be a balancing act. It’s more important than ever to think about broadening your practice to meet the changing creative landscape currently taking place. This workshop is an introduction to new ways of thinking about how these two aspects can support and enrich one another. Through case studies, practical exercises, hands-on assignments, and thoughtful conversation, participants will learn strategies to personalize and create a balanced practice that centers financial health without sacrificing a productive and fulfilling art practice. Instructor Rafael Soldi will share his own experience building a successful fine art and curatorial practice alongside a steady and sustainable commercial and editorial photography business.
