The artists featured in Salt/Water have found ways to use site-specific qualities of water, including the naturally occurring minerals and other idiosyncrasies, to create unique images. These image-artifacts and the artists who created them provide an opportunity, through photography, for contemplation of the durability and fragility of our landscape, and of our connections to it and to one another.
