Learn the basics of outdoor winter adventure photography while deep in the snow. After an online meeting (Jan 27) to discuss gear, composition and theory, we’ll meet (Jan 29) in the winter landscape of the Cascade Mountains (around Snoqualmie Pass) to put it to the test. Learn how to protect gear from the elements, photograph snowy landscapes, set camera settings, and direct models to create intriguing images. We will hopefully be trekking in deep snow so please bring snowshoes or backcountry skis.
