DESCRIPTION
Wax added to a photograph can open a whole new world of creative possibilities. It can add light, translucence, texture, and dimension. In this two-day workshop, we will cover the basics of using wax. We will discuss variations of wax mediums, the tools that are used and safety. Via demonstrations, we will begin to explore different methods of applying wax, layering, and manipulation of the medium. Students will then be encouraged to experiment using their own images to create something with a whole new aesthetic and dimension to take away with them. Join us as we delve into the possibilities.
