Join photographer and farm worker Jake Nelson for a farm tour and photo walk of Steel Wheel Farm, an organic vegetable farm located in Fall City, WA in the heart of the Snoqualmie Valley. The city of Seattle is lucky to be surrounded by rich historic farmlands. Spend the afternoon exploring a farm at the center of Seattle’s local environmentally friendly agriculture scene.

This workshop consists of a three hour photo walk on an active working farm. Participants must respect the rules of the farm and be aware of the space they are in. Due to the possibility of sun exposure participants are expected to bring serious sun protection (a hat, sunscreen and/or protective layers), as well as a personal supply of water.

Some transportation to the farm from PCNW will be available for participants, however space is limited.

Open to all levels of photographer with any kind of camera, including your mobile phone. Must be registered for Chase The Light 2025 to sign-up and participate.
