PCNW is proud to present the series This Might Not Work, a self-perpetuating chain of performances, presentations, lectures, and beneficial experiences organized by recent UW BFA graduates Hami Bohadori and Matt Bell. This Might Not Work occurs once a month at PCNW and features artists, art historians, curators, and other professionals whose practices and research fall between academic and commercial. Joe T. Tennis, PhD, Associate Professor and Director of Faculty Affairs, University of Washington Information School, kicks off the series with “Invisible ‘Conceptual’ Art and the Harm It Can Do: Defining the Aesthetics of the Archive, Classification, and Knowledge Organization.” Upcoming events include documentary portrait and landscape photographer Steve Davis on Thursday, August 13, and artist duo Aeron Bergman & Alejandra Salinas on Thursday, September 17th. Get in on the conversation and make it work!
Thursday, July 23, 6:30–8:00 p.m. Free and open to the public. Full listing here .
