Kristin Zwiers lives in Seattle, WA. She has a Certificate in Fine Art Photography from the Photographic Center NW. Zwiers has shown her photographs at Bach studios in Long Beach, CA; the Los Angeles Center for Photography, and PCNW. Zwiers was awarded “Best in Show” at the Los Alamitos, CA photography contest. Most recently, “Fathom,” one of her double exposures, was featured in the magazine, City Arts.
Kristin Zwiers’ thesis exhibit Conundrum explores the complexity of roles as mother, wife and artist. Photographing her surrounding environment, Zwiers reaches into the subconscious to create layered images that at times unify these various forces and at other times reveal these competing interests.
