Washington State High School Photography Competition Exhibition 2010

The WA State High School Photography Competition has a grass roots beginning in the mid 1980’s. Formed by a group of high school photography instructors as a way of elevating student photography, the early competitions included only a handful of high schools, a few hundred entries, passionate instructors and eager students. Over the years the event has attracted much attention and in 2010, 70 high schools from all over the state participated and 3,495 entries were received. This exhibit at Photo Center NW will feature the 39 images that placed 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in thirteen different categories. The 2010 judges were: Jennifer Brendicke, Mel Curtis, and Mike Wewer.
