In Practice
Work by PCNW Faculty

On view: April 2 – June 7, 2026

Artist Reception: Thursday, April 9th at 6pm

RSVP

In Practice features selected work of our faculty, revealing a wide range of artistic approaches, processes, and subject matter that inform both their individual practices as well as their approach to teaching. The exhibition explores unique approaches to alternative processes, alongside traditional digital and analog photography. Highlighting different artistic styles and professional career paths, viewers will discover teaching artists working in documentary, architectural, landscape, studio, and portrait photography that offer insight into those that balance editorial work, teaching, and creative personal projects.

For more than 30 years, PCNW has offered comprehensive classes and workshops and a rigorous 53-credit Certificate in Fine Art Photography. The technical and creative expertise exhibited reflects the strength of our education programs and talent of our educators. Not centered on a single theme, the exhibition instead fosters an ongoing conversation, offering insight into each artist and how their professional and artistic endeavors shape the learning environment at PCNW.
