Bumbershoot Photography Submissions

In honor of the 50th anniversary of this epic festival, Photographic Center Northwest is partnering with Bumbershoot to present a crowd-sourced group photography exhibition, to present a 50th retrospective from the lens of the audience. Occupying the A/NT Gallery space at Seattle Center, this exhibition will embrace five decades of art, music, fashion and community that has made Bumbershoot so vital to our region’s cultural landscape.

We are looking for photographs of the Bumbershoot experience. While there are many photographs of bands playing the festival, we’re also looking for more personal moments to create the installation. They can be snapshots of your friends on the festival grounds, a funny portrait in the parking lot, you showing off your awesome outfit. The more memorable and personal the photographs are, the better.

All people selected to be included in this special photo-centered retrospective will receive a weekend pass to Bumbershoot this labor day weekend.

Submissions need to be sent over no later than Friday, August 4th and, of course, EARLIER than that would be much appreciated!
