On view: September 2-3, 2023
A/NT Gallery
305 Harrison St, Seattle, WA 98109
In the heart of the Seattle Center next to the International Fountain Pavilion
In honor of the 50th anniversary of this epic festival, Bumbershoot partnered with Photographic Center Northwest to present a crowd-sourced exhibition of photographs through the lens of the audience. From bands backstage to children with balloons to dancing penguins, this exhibition embraces five decades of art, music, fashion, and community that has made Bumbershoot so vital to our region’s cultural landscape. Works in the exhibition represent many different perspectives—from professionals on assignment to concert-goers documenting their family—and all tell the story of this magical festival in their own unique way.
