CALL FOR ENTRIES
23rd JURIED PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBITION
DEADLINE: EXTENDED TO FEBRUARY 9, 2020
Photographic Center Northwest (PCNW) is pleased to announce the opening of our call for entries for the 23rd PCNW Juried Photography Exhibition, Distinction, with our esteemed Juror, Kris Graves.
Emerging and experienced photographers are invited to submit to this opportunity – single and/or group selections are made by the Juror, Kris Graves, and will result in an exhibition in the PCNW gallery from March 26 – May 3, 2020.
Please note that Distinction is the name of the exhibition and not a theme for the call. However, we do encourage you to enter images that are distinct and will stand out, setting your work apart from others.
Juror Kris Graves is a photographer and publisher based in New York and London. He received his BFA in Visual Arts from S.U.N.Y. Purchase College and has been published and exhibited globally. Kris Graves Projects and Gallery, in Brooklyn, NY, collaborates with artists to create limited edition publications and archival prints, focusing on contemporary photography and works on paper.
SUBMISSION DETAILS
DEADLINE: Extended to 10:59pm February 9, 2020 (Pacific Time)
FEE: $50 for 5 images, $5 for each additional image up to 5 (10 total)
EXHIBITION DATES
Distinction exhibition dates: March 26 – May 3, 2020
Opening Reception: March 26, 2020
NOTIFICATION
A list of accepted artists will be posted on this page by late February 2020. Selected artists will be notified by email. Framed work will need to arrive to PCNW in Seattle, WA by Monday, March 16th, 2020. Artists will be responsible for shipping their framed work to and from the gallery.
COMMISSION
Work selected by the judge for the juried show will be exhibited at PCNW. All sales of work in the juried show will be conducted by PCNW and PCNW will retain a 50% commission on all work sold. The artist can determine if they wish to sell their work.

YOUR RIGHTS
You will retain all rights to any photograph you submit, including ownership if applicable. If your image is selected for the juried competition exhibition, you grant PCNW a nonexclusive right, in perpetuity, to: Use, in connection with the current Juried Photography Exhibition, your name, city, state and country of residence in PCNW promotions and publications. Use, in connection with the current Juried Photography Exhibition, your image on partner and third party promotions and publications. Keep the files provided, and to archive the images in electronic forms, so that your photos can be used in connection with the current Juried Photography Exhibition. As conditions of this permission, PCNW shall credit all photographs with the caption “C Person’s Name.”
