Rian Dundon

Rian Dundon (b. 1980) is a photographer from Portland, Oregon. He is the author of the books Protest City, Fan, and Changsha, as well as the forthcoming Passenger, coming fall 2024 from Mirrorical Books. He teaches photography at Clark College in Vancouver, WA, and is a contributing author at the Economic Hardship Reporting Project, where his work has been featured in The New Yorker, The Nation, and New York Times, among other publications. Dundon has taught documentary photography at the San Francisco Art Institute, University of California, and the International Center of Photography. He holds an M.A. in Social Documentation from University of California, Santa Cruz, and was a 2020 Magnum Foundation fellow.
