PCNW is the center of photographic activity: a place where ideas converge, and creativity launches. This year we’re celebrating our history as a focal point of artistic exploration and connection. Come join us on Friday, October 17, 2025 as we honor our community, focus on the future, and raise funds for our collective home for photography.
The evening features a cocktail hour and silent auction, followed by a seated dinner and live auction led by Ian Lindsay. Guests will have the chance to bid on stunning artwork, local getaways, unique experiences, and also raise their paddle in support of PCNW. All auction artwork will be on view in PCNW’s gallery September 18 – October 12, 2025.

$100 add on to attend the Art & Wine Pairing event on October 10th

This year we are also hosting a special art & wine pairing with sommelier Zach Olson, from Frank’s Oyster House & Champagne Parlor and PCNW’s Executive Director, Terry Novak, on October 10th in the gallery. Join us for a fun and exclusive opportunity to hear from both wine and art experts and learn the stories and processes behind some of our favorite artwork in the auction! Guests will be treated to a curated selection of wines that are each uniquely paired with a photograph. Fun, herbaceous mocktails by Herbs & Prosper will be available, along with light apps. Tickets for this event can be purchased separately or in addition to tickets to Focal Point.

Wondering what to wear?
Flare or Flair? Playing off the term lens flare, we’re encouraging all guests to wear their unique flair in whatever shape that takes. Bright colors, bold patterns, luminous fabrics, or all the camera pins you can fit on your suit jacket, all types of artistic expression are welcome!
