PCNW is excited to welcome members of Piece of Cake (POC), who have chosen PCNW as the location for their summer meeting. POC is a collective of contemporary photographers in Europe and North America whose purpose is to interact as they create, produce, and distribute their works—with a focus on collaboration over competition. 

On July 16–20 members of POC will be at PCNW discussing their work, teaching workshops, and interacting with our community. We have organized a public roundtable on July 19th where they will introduce the diversity of the group while discussing the opportunities available to photographers who wish to build their own networks. This is a great opportunity to see how a group of movers and shakers of the contemporary art world are supporting each other in their collective success. It’s rare that we have all these artists in one place, right here in the Northwest. We invite you to attend, spread the word, and share with your students and colleagues.
