Honoring their outstanding and diverse talent, the Photo Center is pleased to announce ReVision: Photo Center Faculty Exhibition, featuring work by our faculty of teaching artists. This exhibition is a showcase of contemporary photography and new media by the accomplished artists who guide our students daily through our classes and workshops. From large-format images of mushroom farmers and treasure hunters to conceptual performances, video installations and land interventions, this exhibition explores a wide range of photographic processes and subjects.

For over 20 years the Photo Center NW has been at the cutting edge of photographic education in the Pacific Northwest, offering everything from introductory classes to conceptual coursework, as well as a nationally accredited Certificate Program. The success of our program is driven by the talented teaching artists who are equally as passionate about teaching as they are about their own art careers. Among the many accomplishments of our faculty this year: Eirik Johnson received the Neddy Award, Jenny Riffle was awarded a solo exhibition at Blue Sky Gallery, work by Matthew Williams was regularly featured on the New York Times and Wall Street Journal, John Blalock’s work with Children’s Hospital went viral on Youtube, and Molly Landreth was featured in Marie Claire and Le Monde.

Members of the faculty will be giving lecture presentations of their work on Thursday, January 10th as well as Monday, January 14th. Join us to hear about their personal projects and journeys as artists and development of their careers.
