Rafael Soldi & Virginia Wilcox: New Work
Seattle-based photographers Rafael Soldi and Virginia Wilcox will be hosting a ONE NIGHT ONLY preview of their new work at the Photo Center on Thursday, May 26 from 6-9pm.
Both artists will be sharing analog color portraiture work. Wilcox’s new work explores the impact of technology and social media in today’s society, often showing my subjects in trance, disconnected and absorbed by their mobile devices. Soldi’s photographs and self-portraits present a personal narrative, chronicling a struggle to reconstruct a life without the one thing he thought defined him.
In addition to the exhibited works, they will be offering a limited edition print set of two images (one by each artist).
