Join us for an opportunity to learn how to use PCNW’s newest film scanning system, the Negative Supply direct digital capture station. In this introductory session, participants will learn all about the advantages of using this innovative digital capture system to get high resolution and fast digital files from a wide variety of film formats. We will cover proper workflow, from load, to digital capture via tethered DSLR, to negative file conversion in Adobe Lightroom. In addition to orientation on the Negative Supply station, this workshop will cover scanning workflow on both flatbed and dedicated film scanners, how resolution and interpolation affect scans, and settings and operation using industry-standard VueScan scanning software to achieve the best results from a scan.
