CHASE THE LIGHT: Photo Weekend

Come join in the adventure of Chase The Light this year.

Chase the Light is Photographic Center Northwest’s (PCNW) annual summer fundraising and friend-raising event celebrating photography and community. The event kicks off with a 48-hour photo weekend on June 14th and 15th, where people around the globe make photographs on the same weekend. Every participant who submits will have their work reviewed by industry professionals and is guaranteed to have one photograph selected for a pop-up exhibition and print sale on Saturday, June 21st. Register today, and invite your friends and family. Chase The Light is a summer highlight for the photographic community, and we want you in on the fun!

Chase The Light is a great event for all ages and skill levels. Participants are encouraged to plan their photographic adventures with friends and family—anyone, anywhere in the world, with any camera (or cell phone!) can participate.

Last year, Chase The Light engaged more than 9,000 photographers, from 5 continents, 28 countries, 47 states, resulting in over 5,500 prints exhibited by PCNW.

Registration is a $25 suggested donation that helps cover our cost to produce the event, and anything above that amount helps us raise critical funds that support scholarships and our annual calendar of free public programs. However, to remove financial barriers, you can register for free. If you’d like a print of your selected Chase The Light image, you can add $20 to your registration.
