Workshop: Shoot, Process, Share
This three-day workshop is about working on all aspects of the photographic process from the creation of the image to editing and printing and finally with sharing and image evaluation. We will start on Friday evening and shoot into the night at a few Seattle locations. Working on location with key concepts such as use of color, effective composition, use of speed lights and environmental portraiture. We return to the Photographic Centers lab on the second day where we dive into the processing of our work and learn some technique and concepts for making effective prints.Students will be given some time to print in the lab as part of the workshop. Finally the following Saturday, we get back together at the Photographic Center for a review and analysis of 3-4 images that each workshop participant prints during the week. The third day we are joined by Michelle Dunn Marsh the executive director of the Photo Center for her insights into the work.
