PCNW Presents master photographer Sylvia Plachy has published seven monographs to date, and her work is in the permanent collections of the Museum of Modern Art, The Houston Museum of Fine Arts, the High Museum in Atlanta, and SF MoMA, among many others. She will show work from her fifty-year career.

PCNW and Leica Store Bellevue have partnered to present in-store exhibits by significant photographers who work with Leica cameras. Plachy’s exhibit, The Road to Stardom, features one moment with her son Adrien Brody, en route to the Cannes Film Festival where the The Pianist was awarded the Palme d’Or. Brody went on to win an Academy Award for Best Actor for that film.
