APA National is a professional organization representing advertising and commercial photographers, and offers business forms, insurance, studio and rental directories and other services for members of the organization.

American Society of Media Photographers
The American Society of Media Photographers, Inc. is a trade organization which promotes photographers' rights, educates photographers in better business practices, and produces business publications for photographers.

Aperture
Aperture is the premier not-for-profit arts institution dedicated to advancing fine photography. Founded in 1952 by photographers Ansel Adams, Dorothea Lange, Barbara Morgan, and Minor White; historian Beaumont Newhall; and writer/curator Nancy Newhall.

Artist Trust
Artist Trust provides the following services: direct grants to individual artists residing in Washington State, information services for the benefit of artists and arts patrons, and recognition for the valuable contributions artists make to their communities.

Blue Earth Alliance
Blue Earth Alliance is a non-profit dedicated to supporting photographic projects that educate the public about threatened cultures, endangered environments, and other social concerns. Blue Earth does not provide direct funding.

Camera Club of New York

The Center for Photographic Projects
The Center for Photographic Projects is dedicated to supporting and encouraging imagemakers as they initiate, develop and culminate long-term photographic projects. This site provides information, inspiration and community to photographers working on long-term projects, and includes information about CPP, project resources, events, on-line community, and editorial features of interest to project photographers.

Daylight Magazine
Daylight Magazine focuses on documentary photography and is the printed publication of Daylight Community Arts Foundation, Inc. a non-profit organization that strives to establish community-based documentary partnerships in various locations throughout the world.

Light Work Artist-in-Residence Program
The activities of Light Work include an Artist-in-Residence program, exhibitions, publications, grants to Central New York artists, projects for mid-career artists, and maintaining a collection of contemporary photographic works. Each year we produce five issues of our publication Contact Sheet that are distributed to artists, museums, galleries, and subscribers across the country and internationally.

National Press Photographers Association
The National Press Photographers Association is dedicated to the advancement of photojournalism, its creation, editing and distribution, in all news media. The website has a mailing list, news, a job bank, a members gallery, and educational programs aimed at press photographers.

Photolucida, Portland's Month of Photography
By promoting in-depth, informed, and supportive dialog between photographers, gallery owners, publishers and pundits of various sorts, Photolucida promotes the culture of photography. The next Portfolio Review event will take place March 12-16th, 2005.

Seattle Photographic Society
An active camera club of Seattle, Washington. Seattle Photographic Society's goal is to help individual photographers gain a greater enjoyment from their hobby as well as to obtain technical knowledge of the art of photography, in a supportive environment.

Seattle Professional Photographers Association
Organized by local photography professionals, SPPA provides educational and networking opportunities in a supportive atmosphere to those pursuing a career in professional photography. Membership available for business owners, employees and spouses, aspiring professionals and students enrolled full time in photography programs, as well as for people and businesses that provide products and services to the industry.
