Traer Scott is the bestselling author of Shelter Dogs, Street Dogs and Wild Horses; Endangered Beauty. Scott’s work has been featured in National Geographic, Life, Vogue, People, O, and dozens of other major national and international publications. Recent solo exhibitions of her work have been held in Shanghai, New York and Tokyo. Scott was the recipient of the 2010 Rhode Island State Council for the Arts Photography Fellowship Grant. Currently with Chronicle Books, Scott’s next monograph will be released in May 2013. She resides in Providence, Rhode Island and teaches animal photography at Rhode Island School of Design.
