Meyer received her BFA in Photography from NYU, an MFA from University of California, San Diego and is an Associate Professor of Photography at Loyola Marymount University.

She has received grants from City of Santa Monica, California Council for the Humanities, and the Durfee Foundation; was an artist in residence at Takt in Berlin, 18th Street Arts Center in Santa Monica, CUE Art Foundation in New York, Smack Mellon in Brooklyn, and The Lower Manhattan Cultural Council’s Residency in the Woolworth Building.

Her work has been exhibited in solo exhibitions at the 18th Street Art Center, Santa Monica; AIR Gallery, NYC; and The Society for Contemporary Photography, Kansas City; as well as numerous group shows in the United States and abroad.
