Community Meet-ups that
Get You Thinking
Here at the Photo Center our community is our biggest asset. Check out these great community-lead opportunities to share your work and thoughts with like-minded photographers and art lovers.
Community Critique Group
The community critique group is on hiatus for the summer, the group will resume Sunday, September 8, 2013.
This group meets on the FIRST SUNDAY of every month for an informal critique session. Ideal for those working on a project or looking for direction, the goal of these sessions is to gather feedback from a community of photographers interested in looking and sharing work. If you are interested in participating or leading a crtique, please e-mail Terry Novak, Outreach Associate.
Night Photography Meet-ups
This group meets occasionally to do night photography in Georgetown, lead by Janet Neuhauser. If you are interested in participating or would like to help organize one, get in touch directly with Janet Neuhauser. Check our calendar for possible upcoming dates.
Community Discussion Group
This group, lead by Photo Center faculty Melinda Simon, meets monthly and discusses local exhibits, talks with artists, and occasionally ventures to local galleries and museums. Check our calendar for most up-to-date information about next meeting details.
