SHOT 2014

JUNE 20-22, 2014 | Three days of global image making and sharing, community interaction, and conversation surrounding photography.

Photo Center NW (PCNW) is an educational arts institution facilitating creation, conversation, and sharing of significant photography. Long Shot is our annual spring program celebrating photography and community by connecting people from around the world on the summer solstice weekend. See a selection of 2013 Long Shot images here!

How does Long Shot work?


Registration for Long Shot will open in May, stay tuned for more details! Photography adventures commence at 12:01am on Friday, June 20th as participants from all over the world unite in one day of image-making surrounding the summer solstice.



On Saturday, June 21, up to five images may be submitted to an online platform by 10am PST Saturday, June 21st. Local participants may drop off darkroom prints to the PCNW by 10am. On Sunday, June 22, celebration of photographers commences including a slideshow of images, a community party with live music and refreshments, and exhibition of Long Shot photographs.
