Level: Intermediate - Advanced
Prerequisites: Students must have proficient working knowledge of digital camera operations (including manual mode) and digital image editing in Photoshop.

Description:
Explore night photography in the field and in the digital lab through this intensive, hands-on workshop. Learn exposure techniques, painting with various types of light, remote releases. Learn about individual camera settings to ensure your best possible night photography exposure. Come along as we spend a weekend shooting the moonless night sky and two weeknights in the digital lab learning how to form your own personal photographic vision as it relates to night photography.

Required equipment/skills:
– Digital Camera with manual settings (and manual skills)
– Tripod + Quick Release Plate; Memory Cards
– Prepare to dress warm when necessary and in dark clothing to ensure best results with techniques such as light painting.
