Description:
The range of studio flash and lighting systems is vast and sophisticated: power packs, mono-lights, scrims, reflectors, gobos, softboxes, and umbrellas. What are they and what do they do? This workshop will provide a thorough introduction to the many options in studio lighting through class demonstrations and hands-on practice with lighting setups and systems. Finally, students will learn about options for outfitting their own personal studio spaces — how to make more with less, and what equipment is the best investment.
