Description:
The aim of this workshop is to help photographers/videographers/story-tellers to arm themselves with tools and techniques for visiting a new place. Course will cover basics like logistics, translators, evil taxi drivers, model releases, and travel tips from professional globe-trotting journalists. We will also review the latest travel briefs from stock/assignment agencies to see what the market is demanding. The second day will be group portfolio reviews of attendees work and/or personal itinerary reviews of upcoming trips.
Bio: Jake Warga has traveled to over 50 countries shooting stock for Corbis and Getty images. He’s just back from photographing a PR campaign for Morocco Tourism after a quick trip to Afghanistan where he was embedded with the US Army as a Journalist.
