Description:
Survey the applications of Photoshop CS6 in our Mac lab in this introduction to the digital imaging process. Explore the digital darkroom using familiar photographic concepts, as well as new digital tools. Learn basic editing functions, and move into more complex operations with layers, masks, color correction and printing. Adobe Photoshop is the industry standard for image editing and production; through real world projects you will learn your way around this program from the ground up. Basic computer experience and skills required. Students may choose to spend additional time in the digital lab to complete assignments for this course.

Rental fees (not included in tuition) are charged for use of the Photo Center digital lab to complete assignments outside of class; a list of rental rates for students is available on the Hours/Rates page.
