Composite & Montage
June 22–Aug 10 (Mon 6-9:30pm)
Prerequisites: Digital Imaging I: Photoshop Fundamentals or equivalent experience
Credits: 3 - fulfills Elective requirement for Certificate Program
Whether you’re a portrait photographer looking to give the skin a glow, enhance the eyes or the shadows, or to replace drab backgrounds, a landscape photographer replacing the sky to give added drama to the image, or a fine artist wanting to express complex concepts that can’t be captured in one still photo, this class will explore how to do so. The class will explore multiple image montage and post production studio work, using features like advanced blending, blending modes, calculations, channels, and layers in Photoshop CC.
Rental fees (not included in tuition) are charged for use of the Photo Center digital lab to complete assignments outside of class; a list of rental rates for students is available on the Hours/Rates page.
